Day of the Dead

Day of the Dead, ‘Día de los Muertos’ is primarily celebrated in Mexico and Central America though it has become increasingly popular among Latino communities living abroad. The brightly colored skulls and figures represent the departed souls in the circle of life as family members and friends come together to celebrate and honor the lives of those who have passed away. It is believed that once a year the departed ones come back to celebrate with the living.
